Strawberry and
Summer Solstice Festival

21st, 2pm-6pm
Celebrate the summer
season on Saturday June 21st, here at Blue House Farm. We will be feasting on
strawberries fresh from the field, making strawberry shortcake, and have
other treats available. Enjoy live music from local musicians. This is a
family-friendly event, bring kids, friends and family for an afternoon on
the farm.
It is also time to harvest
garlic and hang it to cure in the barn. This will be an on-going project
throughout the afternoon and we could use all available hands. We have been
tending the garlic through the winter and it has sized-up beautifully.
Please bring sturdy shoes and gloves if you would like to lend a hand. Hope
to see you here!
After the Strawberry and
Summer Solstice Festival we will be heading down to Pie Ranch for the monthly Barn Dance.
Potluck begins at 6:00 and music and dancing starts around 7:00pm.

Barn Dances at Pie Ranch
3rd Saturday of
each Month
Join us for
contra-dancing and great music from the County Line Pickers. A potluck
begins at 6:00pm and music and dancing start around 7:00pm. In order to
cover the costs and compensate the talent we ask for a sliding scale
donation of $5-10. The Roadside Barn is located at Pie Ranch, 2080 Cabrillo Hwy.

offering ongoing tours of the farm throughout the afternoon.
● This is a great
time to visit the farm if you are a member of our Community Supported
Agriculture (CSA) program or interested in becoming one.
● Connect with the
people and the land that are growing your organic food.

various educational programs being run at the farm
