Pastured Eggs

from Pie Ranch

How it works

Pie Ranch invites members of the Blue House Farm CSA to join in their Community Supported Eggs (CSE) project.By joining their CSE, you will receive one dozen eggs e ach week, in addition to your box of vegetables.

Pie Ranch

Pie Ranch is a neighboring farm located a few miles down the coast from Blue House Farm. Pie Ranch rotate their truly free-range, pastured chickens throughout the ranch, feeding them a steady supply of green grazing ground and organic chicken feed. It is exciting for us to collaborate with another farm and we are grateful for the vision they bring to work with other local farms to strengthen the viability for a new generation of coastal food producers. Check out their website to learn more about all the other exciting things happening at Pie Ranch.

"As long as one egg looks pretty much like another, all the chickens like chicken, and beef beef, the substitution of quantity for quality will go on unnoticed by most consumers, but it is becoming increasingly apparent to anyone with an electron microscope or a mass spectrometer that, truly, this is not the same food."

-Michael Pollan, The Omnivores Dilemma
